Marvel Studios is an American film studio that produces and distributes films. Located in Berbank, California. It is a subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios.
Created to produce films based on Marvel Comics characters, the studio was involved in launching three cinematic universes of a series of films about Marvel characters that grossed more than $ 1 billion in North American box office: X-Men, Spider-Man, and The Universe. All of these films are linked by a global storyline, which also includes short films "One-Shots", released by the same studio, and is connected with TV series released by Marvel Television. In 2019, Marvel Studios began producing series within the film universe for screening on Disney +, the first was released "WandaVizhen" in February 2021.
In 2019, 20th Century Fox was acquired by The Walt Disney Company, which led Marvel Studios to regain the rights to some of its characters (X-Men, Fantastic Four, Wolverine, etc.), after which it was announced that these characters from ' will appear in the next 5 years in future films within the film universe.
